Constructive

I realized, being constructive is so much so important for progress in life.

If you know that you are being criticized for something you have done, you also should know that you are going to make one less mistake next time you do the job - basically that's one more step closer to perfection. If you know that you are being criticized for something you have not done, then you can analyze the persons behind the criticism. If it is a constructive criticism which is originated from some misunderstanding between you and the person involved, take it. Clarify with the critic and make sure you do not let a similar misunderstanding occur now onwards.

But what if the criticism is nothing but a gossip? Well, you can ignore it as long as the person behind is someone who doesn't matter to you. But if the person behind does matter, and the behavior is unexpected and irrational (back-biting), let it be. This is what we call "aastin ka saanp" - you need not kill them always as they might bite if you try getting rid of them - just know them and take some anti-venom precaution as this snake is likely to pour some poison soon.
The constructive part here is the anti-venom precaution. You know that you are safe and a step ahead. And then watch it, but don't let it watch you. Do your work, but sleep with an eye open.
