There is this one lady who always lifts my spirits up, like she does to many others I believe. She is one of the most successful reality stars who rose to fame almost overnight. More importantly, in the era of Kardashians and bundles of tv shows launching every month, this lady is very deserving of the popularity and praise she received. Her story is not of a woman who was smart, young, beautiful and lucky. She is one who is always bullied in school and later on stage many times in her life, over-weight, not remotely beautiful (and I am talking very much honestly about physical beauty) and had to wait till 47 when could see her dreams come true. But she is talented, as talented as a singer can be. I am talking about Susan Boyle and this lady's spirits make me so high everytime I watch her
It always gives me a message when I see how everyone's eyebrows raised and grins disappear when she started singing. I see the silent sadness in her eyes and can fathom how painful it is to live for your dreams when "...There are dreams that cannot be/ And there are storms we couldn't weather". But still she made it to the stage where a moment of glory turned her dream into reality. As she was bestowed with applause, the pain she was bearing inside became the one of everyone watching. It is this particular moment in life, that we all live for. We all live to receive the standing ovation from the world as we live upto our dreams, to live for the passion for something that turn our living into "life".
As one absorbs all the pain and loneliness into her passion and perseverance, she slowly reaches out, and then nothing can stop her from reaching the pinnacle she has identified to be "the dream".
