Why is religion the biggest doctrine we always celebrate, while it is actually the biggest fear we are afraid to dispute?
Why is religion even a tag while discussing about Malala Yousafzai, while it fundamentally should span on education, humanity, awakening and progress?
It's not misogeny, it's the fear of losing power to a "weaker" race that drives patriarchy. They are probably the same - they both took birth in corner of the household where the mothers and sisters and wives and daughters are cooking, doing dishes, running errands, while the father, brothers, husbands and sons are "ruling" decisions, savoring the meals, lifting the weight and ordering the water to be brought in front while they do something more meaningful. Both feelings have been preached on by the religious school of thoughts, and nurtured by society through everyday practices, gut-wrenching crimes and the phony arguments of feminism which barely addresses the premise of equality.
We might or might not need organizations demonstrating against fashion shows and obscene movies, but we definitely need all of us to work on ourselves for humanity and equality. We have to start at home, with our mothers, and daughters and maids and neighbors and the on-going stranger and all the male that we despise as "MCP"s.
We have to stop wasting time on religious agenda and let humane senses rule our ethics instead of letting societal practices disable our ability to question and judge everyday practices.
We need to start with ourselves while we are leading the drag of everyday life with a mind numbed with habits.
