Dent on the metal mask,
Blood drop in the virgin fire,
You take a little more than I can offer.

Trembling of newborn in the first chill of air,
Last breath in water bubbling up through the layer,
You are a little more intense than I can suffer.

But then there's more to me than this skin holds beneath,
Oozing pain through the neon sheath -
Such more in the reach of my sultry heat.

Defy me, you dare defy my hand
Gripping over life, spreading unplanned.
Mistaken music from the land long-banned.
