Such a PhdComic moment it was yesterday!
I passed my PhD Comprehensive exam and was just about to head for lunch, I saw my advisor and greeted him. We stopped to talk briefly about some feedback regarding my presentation and there he goes - "You were good...ummm.....don't mind me asking this but when are you sending me the draft of your next journal?" My reflex was "mmm....aaa....this weekend." I can't stop taking few seconds to laugh before replying though!
The journal he mentioned is long due from my side.
Tonight I again dreamed of my family - nothing meaningful though! I am almost taking turn into seeing one family member at a time every night in my dreams. And those keep reminding me that I am homesick!!
P.S. I am happy that I am a step closer to my degree and can now work more peacefully on things I want to.
