This point is really stuck in my mind, there weren't any rural journalism, not even a beat before P. Sainath, his TOI reports and "Everybody Loves a Good Drought"! I always kept politics and socio-economics at least 100 feet away from myself and they always came by a "news" to me, never as a thought or opinion. But things are drawing my attention these days. That's good I believe!
